Being new in town, we didn't know anyone to have over for Rachel's birthday, so we just had a little family celebration. We gave her a little puppy that sings the "twinkle, twinkle, little star tune" when you press its belly. Allie picked red velvet cupcakes out for her.
With as much as she loves food, we figured she would dig right in.
But we discovered that she needed a fork to it her cupcake. Silly girl.
This next clip is a little long, but it is pretty funny. We aren't sure where Allie got the idea to make the noises she does. She's kinda crazy, but we love her!

Here are a few pictures from the night.
Our girl is such a joy! She is almost always happy and is always making us smile. She loves her sister. She says a few words: baby, mama, dada, hi. She has said, "up," but doesn't continue to say it. There have been times when it seemed like she said others, but not consistently. She knows what things are, though. She has been able to point to the nose for quite some time. She will also point at trees when we are outside. We can ask her to do some little tasks and she'll often do them. She is a sweetie and such a blessing to have in our family!
