A fun and goofy month, with dress up and family outings.
Both girls enjoyed wearing some silly glasses at Auntie Maria's house.

Who doesn't love some chocolate milk? And chocolate milk mustaches?

My sister took some family pictures for us. This is of the girls waiting to get in the car to go to our destination.
Our favorite
We went to a local pumpkin patch that also had pony rides, goats to feed, several animals to see, a corn maze, and other fun things. We did just about everything, except the corn maze. It was a lot of fun, though it was FREEZING. It looks sunny and nice, but don't let that deceive you.
The girls LOVED riding the ponies, especially Allie. She always asks to ride a horse.
Allie feeding goats.
We went on a little "hayride" and got to feed cows tortillas. Allie got a kick out of it. Rachel wasn't so sure about half of the time.

We got back from feeding the cows just in time to watch the pig races. Allie picked a winning pig, so then she got to participate in a little race to try and catch a pig. She was so cold that she didn't really listen well enough to realize what she was doing. It was pretty cute, though.
First the pig race
Then Allie participating
We couldn't leave without one more pony ride.
And of course we had to head out to pick out some pumpkins.
The countryside was beautiful with all of the leaves changing colors.
Jared had to go to Chicago for work over Halloween. That meant that Nikki got to carve all of the pumpkins. The girls helped a little with cleaning the pumpkins, but Nikki got to do most of that, too. It was still fun, though.
The finished results
Rachel's, Mommy's, Daddy's, and Allie's (she really wanted an "X" on hers for the mouth)
And our cute girls in their costumes.
Allie was a "Ballerina Angel"
Rachel was a chick or duckling. She was called both by several people.
