We traveled back from Washington on July 5th. We flew into Kansas City and then drove home to Arkansas. After our tiring trip, we were exhausted by the time we got home. Poor Rachel's birthday was the next day. We were all recovering from our travels, so it ended up being a very low key, thrown-together celebration. I cannot handle not doing anything on the actual birthday, but I did not have energy to make something for Rachel. Jared knows me and knew that I'd be disappointed if we did not do anything, so he ran to the discount bakery store to get some cupcakes and to Braum's to get some ice cream. Rachel really loved having her moment.
Again, the silly girl wanted to wear her helmet.
The girls played quietly well Mommy rested earlier during the day. Daddy was an angel and watched the girls so I could recover some.
Daddy took some video of them playing.
We really don't have many pictures to show for the rest of July. I know that we didn't do a whole lot the week after we got back because it really took some time for my pregnant body to recover. Also, I was still combating all day nausea. But the girls did get to enjoy the warm weather some. We have a little pool in which they had a lot of fun.
I love their long approach.
