During Jared's Spring Break, we had a fun day trip to the Oklahoma City Zoo. We went with Nikki's sister, Maria, and her kids, as well as one of her friends and her son. Maria's friend's name is Michelle, and her son is Travis. We really enjoyed getting to know them, and we have been able to get to know them a little better since the zoo. Nikki posted pictures from our trip on Facebook but then forgot to post them on our blog (we'll blame it on pregnancy). But we want to share some pictures from the trip.
It was a beautiful day, and we got to see almost all of the animals. We'll only show pictures of some of them, though.

We visited the new Elephant exhibit. It was the first day of it being open, so the zoo was crazy! Their new area is huge and beautiful. Jared was the only one lucky enough in our family to see any elephants. But as we waited for the other part of our group to catch up with us after the elephant exhibit, Allie enjoyed herself climbing on the rocks on the side of a little building.

Overall, it was a really fun day.
