Heise Hot Springs

The last place that we went that was on our list was Heise Hot Springs, which is just outside of Rexburg. It's actually too bad that we only went the one time. It was a lot of fun. Thanks, Heather, for helping us find it. I don't know if we could have done it without you.

Something that made the trip to Heise so special was that Nikki's sister-in-law, Mara, and her kids (Hailee, Caidance, and Cole) met us there. They were in town visiting Mara's brother and his family. It was so great being able to see them before moving further away from them. We had so much fun playing with them in the water. Allie really enjoyed her cousins. The pictures below were taken while they were on the water slides, and then we forgot to get the camera out again. So sadly, we do not have any pictures with them. But we did have a blast with them at the hot springs and then also at the park the next day. We'll sure miss you guys!

Since Allie had enjoyed the kiddie pool at Auntie Michelle's house so much, we figured that she would like the pool at the hot springs. Luckily, we were right. She loved it. She didn't want to get out. Poor thing, her lips would turn blue and then we'd have to take her to the hot tub to warm her up and get her lips pink. But then she just wanted back in the pool again.
