At one point, some geese came up from the pond. This one wanted to goose Nikki. And Allie wasn't so sure about it either. It just stood there and honked at us.
Jared and Nikki met in the summer of 2007 when Jared was doing an internship in Washington. They dated the rest of the summer and continued a long-distance relationship for two semesters before getting married April 11, 2008. We are best friends and love being married to each other. Each day is filled with love and laughter. We have two wonderful daughters, Allie and Rachel, who are continually bringing smiles to our faces and warming our hearts.

I miss the duck pond. Hope you're having a great summer!
ReplyDeleteHey, I found your blog. I hope you don't mind. Allie is getting so big and is very cute. You are welcome to check out our blog whenever you would like.
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie! I just saw your comment about the pound cake on Fine Meal Woman...I had a hard time getting mine out of the bundt pan, too. I should've noted that, sorry! Have you tried that cooking spray w/the flour built in? I just made a different bundt cake using that and it came out perfectly. Never going back to flour again! Oh and the glaze didn't make my cake soggy at all...it kind of absorbs and makes a sugary coating. Probably not describing it right but definitely think it adds to the flavor (with the zest in it). But also adds calories w/all that sugar!
